There’s less than a week to go until Bristol’s original and best Vintage Wedding Fair. Come down to the Clifton Pavilion at Bristol Zoo Gardens this Sunday, 16th March, 2014 between 10.30am and 4.00pm for a feast of vintage style wedding inspiration.
I’ll be there with a selection of couture wedding dresses from all of my collections as well as some new separate pieces, flower girl dresses made from my favourite bridal fabrics, beautiful vintage veils and brand new accessories from Klaire Van Elton and Nickie Portman.
Other exhibitors will be displaying original, vintage items as well as vintage inspired pieces. Have a look at the Bristol Vintage blog to see who else will be there. The £1 entry fee includes a raffle ticket for the prize draw so make sure you get there by 2.30pm for your chance to win fantastic prizes from all the exhibitors including Hotel du Vin, Bristol ( I wish I could enter!). All the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Society. And if that isn’t enough of an incentive you can tie it in with a trip to the Zoo… go see the Red Pandas they are so cute!

Having a window to dress has got to be one of the most exciting things about opening a bridal shop! Having a super-talented, incredibly generous and enthusiastic floral stylist to help makes it even more exciting! Amy is brimming with ideas and creative ways to bring a touch of nature’s bounty into my windows in a way which beautifully complements my wedding dresses. In the short time that Jessica Charleston Couture Wedding Dresses has been open, Amy has created two sumptuous seasonal displays for my window as well as two gorgeous festive wreaths for the door. Amy is a joy to work with and I cannot wait for more collaborations to come in 2014.
Amy’s approach to wedding flowers is equally inspiring, she understands how to capture nature at its best. She works closely with brides throughout the entire creative process from consultation to demo to produce beautiful flowers on the day itself providing a completely bespoke experience. Working from her tiny floral space on the outskirts of Bath, all Amy’s floral designs are natural, seasonal and delightful. And she’s just the sort of person I would want to help me plan my wedding.
To see more of Amy’s wonderful work or to make an appointment to discuss your wedding flowers have a look at the Flowers for Eddie website.
