When Julia came to see me for the first time last year I had just moved into my new shop and was still in the midst of renovating it but loving the fabrics I showed her and happy to have an excuse to return to Bath from London we quickly came up with a design which was perfect for her. She had an idea of the shape she wanted so together we developed a design which just gently hollers ‘effortless chic’. Julia chose a cream silk jacquard with a subtle paisley pattern and a gold metallic lace to lay over the bodice. The scallop detail frames the neckline and the sleeves beautifully.
Julia and Ben went home to New Zealand for their wedding and chose a gorgeous historic homestead near Wellington for their big day. The whole day was captured brilliantly by Tim Williams from Sydney, Australia. His photos are fantastic and his website is well worth a look. Julia and Ben look amazing and I love the way Tim has found so many fantastic backdrops to photograph them against. We’re all thrilled that the photos have been featured on Rock My Wedding and you can see them all here.
